That's what will be happening at Taree Showground on March 15 at the inaugural Taree Annual Motor Show.
Show organiser Jeff Stewart, a former volunteer firefighter, said funds raised for the appeal will go directly to those in need.
"We're happy the money will stay with the affected people in our area," Jeff said.
"We want to support local businesses as well."
Jeff, the owner of Stewy's Auto Accessories, came up with the idea in January after speaking with customers Murray Difford, from Taree Rotary Club, and Mel Isaac.
"Rotary have helped so many people recently," Jeff said.
He wanted Murray and the Rotary Club involved to ensure funds would stay local and not end up in the hands of organisations who will keep a slice of the pie.
"Everything will be staying local and we'll be keeping vendors to a minimum," Jeff added.
Any make, model or vehicle can be featured at the event for $10.
"We want to support the Manning auto industry," Jeff said.
"Locals love their vehicles so we've made it so the show focuses on all things with a motor, not just cars and bikes. If you're proud of your tractor, bring it along."
The Rotary Club will provide the barbecue and soft drinks on the day.
With other popular motor events happening throughout the year, such as Taree Rescue Squad's Weekend on Wheels and Taree Historic Car Club fun days, Jeff thought March would be the ideal time to hold the show.
A number of attractions and stalls are locked in.
There will be a number of trade stalls while groups such as the Mid North Coast Canine Club will have displays.
Skydiving Drop Zone will hold a 'jump lotto'.
Here show goers will purchase squares, which will be laid out on the ring at the showground. Each square will be allocated a prize.

Skydivers will then jump and land on some of the squares, with those prizes to be awarded.
Raffles and auctions will be held throughout the day.
Nissan donated seven vehicles to volunteer organisations in the area during the crisis. Murray said the show will be an opportunity to thank them.
Bushfire and drought agencies, such as BlazeAid, will be recognised on the day.
Kennards Hire, Stinger Australia, The Framer, JR Richards and Shannons Insurance are also on board.
For those early birds wanting to take their car to the showground the night before, All Safe Security Solutions will be on site.
The show will run from 8am to 3pm.
In hope the Mid Coast has seen the last of devastating bushfires, Jeff said the 2021 show will financially support local volunteer organisations.
