MidCoast Brickfest will be held at the Great Lakes College, Tuncurry Campus, from 9am till 3pm, on Sunday, February 23.
Rainbow Bricks LUG is a registered LEGO User Group [LUG] with The LEGO Group whose exhibitors are all volunteers giving up their time to create their displays and put on these events.
The group has exhibitors from Sydney, the Hunter and Central Coast who will have amazing Lego builds on display.
"We are not paid by the LEGO Group or LEGO Australia to put on these events," said Rainbow Bricks member Kevin Evans.
"We enjoy spreading the love of the brick around and at the same time help charities/schools raise funds for their cause.
"This year we have 25 exhibitors and more than 60 tables of amazing LEGO creations and collections.
"There will be old favourites like the 10-table long City layout with working trams and trains.
"This year's version of the City will have new buildings and an oil field.
"We also have new exhibits such as a giant space shuttle Atlantis. There will be a range of creations with some for kids of all ages and the young at heart."
A free build area on the day will allow kids and adults to build their own creations.
The RC trackers are back, where the young at heart can drive the LEGO vehicles in the RC Tracker area.
Several retailers will be selling LEGO parts, sets and other LEGO merchandise.
Hallidays Point Lions Club will be cooking up a storm on the barbecue on site, plus there will be a cake stall and coffee van.
Entry to BrickFest is $15 for a family and $5 a person.
