The Wingham Show Society said the heat and dust didn't deter the die hard rodeo fans from attending the 2020 Wingham Summertime Rodeo.

An estimated 4000 people went through the Wingham Showground gates on Saturday January 4 making it slightly smaller than previous years but still declared a success
"Over 240 talented riders from all over Australia put their bodies on the line to see who could hold fast the longest making for adrenaline pumping entertainment," president Elaine Turner said.
Elaine cites the sponsorship support of local businesses for the continued success of the annual rodeo and other events.
Spectators were treated to a full range of rodeo events including bull riding, saddle and bare bronc riding.
And it wasn't all competition, with some less intense entertainment also on offer during the day.
Famous rodeo clown Big Al Wilson proved to be a real crowd pleaser with the children and local band The Trapps kept the crowds entertained into the night.
Wingham Show Society Miss Showgirl 2020, Claudia Greenaway was also on hand to present the Over 40's Buckle and also the Dean Watson Memorial Trophy
The Wingham Show Society said planning is already underway for the 2021 event.
