This year LJ Hooker has joined forces with NSW Rugby League to bring our entire community together in support of those among us who have been affected by the recent bush fire emergency. All proceeds from this event will be donated to those who need it most.
Celebrate Christmas with special guest stars Shannon Noll, country music star Travis Collins, Andy and Deb Saunders and fellow contestants from The Block Jesse and Mel, and Tess and Luke, and the NSW State of Origin Team.
There will also be entertainment from local schools, homegrown talent, PCYC Gymaroos and Cheer Squads, and a visit from Mr Hooker Bear and Santa Claus.
Glow sticks and candles will be available for purchase. A sausage sizzle will be cooked by the Blues Players and there will be food, coffee and refreshment vans available onsite.
In lieu of our fireworks display the event will be donating the much needed funds to the families affected by fire.
"This event could not be possible without the generosity of our major sponsors LJ Hooker Taree, NSW Rugby League, Viatek, NAB and myconnect," said organiser Emma Newell.
Also supporting the event are Taree PCYC, Saxbys, WorkWise Clothing, Kennards Hire, Canterbury, Channel 9, A Current Affair, Coca Cola, The Star, Insurance Advisernet, Stacks Finance, JR Richards and Sons, Aurora Show FX, MidCoast Council and local butchers and bakeries.
Carols in the Park is an alcohol free event.
