Police have charged two men for allegedly intimidating Rural Fire Service (RFS) volunteers.

On Friday, November 15 a 32-year-old man allegedly used a chainsaw to threaten a 64-year-old man at a property on Padmans Road at Elands, about 50km north-west of Taree.
The man then allegedly lit a fire near the property.
Two RFS volunteers attended a short time later, and they were allegedly also threatened by the man.
The man was arrested by Manning Great Lakes Police District officers.
The fire was extinguished by RFS officers.
The man was taken to Taree Police Station where he was charged with common assault, three counts of intimidation, possess a prohibited drug and damage property by fire.
The man was refused bail and appeared at Port Macquarie Bail Court on Saturday, November 16.
Meanwhile on Thursday, November 14 a 44-year-old man was charged after allegedly intimidating two RFS volunteers at a property in Elands. He remains before the courts.
