Magistrate Ross Hudson refused Michael Frederick Perkins bail and adjourned the matter for mention at Forster on January 7, 2020.
He was excused from appearing at the January matter.
Mr Perkins was charged with two counts of stalk or intimidation intending to cause fear or physical or mental harm (personal violence offence) and carrying a cutting weapon (knife).
