A spokesperson for the Department of Education said all public schools in potential bushfire-affected areas are assessed each day by the Rural Fire Service and the principal.
Manning Valley Anglican College has advised the school will be closed for the rest of this week, with many families and staff affected by the fires and some still isolated or on fire watch, as well as unpredictable road closures and smoke still an issue.
NESA (The New South Wales Education Standards Authority) has reassured HSC students that anyone affected by the fires will receive a misadventure ruling.
