That's the message from authorities as the emergency fire threat has diminished across the Mid-North Coast.
That's not to say the terrifying situation is resolved.
The Hillville and Rumba Dump fires continue to burn though conditions have eased.
The RFS says:
- If you are in the area of Hillville, Purfleet, Tinonee, Failford, Possum Brush and Old Bar areas, monitor the conditions. Know what you will do if the fire threatens.
- Old Bar Road is closed.
- The Rumba Dump fire is burning in the areas of Killabahk, Bulgong, Upper Lansdown, Elands, Bobin and Marlee.
- If you are in the area of Bulgong, Upper and Central Lansdowne, Upper Dingo, Kippaxs, Mooral Creek, Elands, Bobin, Marlee, Killabahk and areas north west of Wingham, monitor conditions.
We'll be there and will also continue rolling updates through the day.
