The train-on squad includes hooker Oscar Carey from Taree City and Old Bar prop Jarred Wooster. Players selected are Mitch Wilbow, Conrad Lardner, Kane Parkinson, Sam Shields, Denzel Briscoe, Tristan Scott, Mitch Smith, Oscar Carey, Jarred Wooster, Jessie Douglas, Jordan Moore, Oliver Pascoe, Ryan Pemberton, Jordan Haywood, Liam Dunn, Tyke Kemp, Cooper Woods, Michael Hart, Leyton Doolan, Tyler Roberts, Alex Bunt, Daniel Lavender, Dylan Collett.
The opening round of the championship will be played at the Port Macquarie Regional Stadium on Saturday February 29 on the same program as the NRL trial game featuring Canterbury and Canberra.
North Coast made the semi-finals of the championships this year.
