Scowen remained 96 not out as Wingham won the match by nine wickets, chasing down Rovers score of 128.
The left hander started watchfully but his innings blossomed as he got his eye in, highlighted by cover drives, cut shots and flicks to the on-side.
He was denied a century only by the small total as he and Josh McTaggart (21 n.o) chased down the tally in 23 overs, adding 122 unbeaten runs following the early fall of Ryan Morris's (4) wicket.
Earlier, Rovers won the toss and elected to bat but were soon in trouble at 2/8, Steve Allwood and McTaggart claiming early wickets. Jack Wakely (19) and Lachlan Dowling (24) added 34 before Wakely fell to Rhett MacGregor.
Mick Stinson and Dave Rees claimed three wickets apiece, Rees whilst bowling off-breaks, as Rovers limped towards the ton. Jackson Korn (24) and Jye Woodger (23) added 39 to get the innings into the final over.
Stinson finished with 3 for 19 and Rees 3 for 24, whilst McTaggart claimed 2 for 34, Allwood 1/11 and MacGregor 1/7 despite injuring his foot.
Wingham travels to Port Macquarie on Saturday to meet Pirates at Wayne Richards Oval.
