The first charity concert was held at Forster, at St Alban's Anglican Church, followed last Sunday, October 27 with a concert in Taree's St John's Anglican Church.
Musical director Pam Archer OAM said Taree's "lovely" audience sang along with the choir.
The concert program featured a diverse mix of songs from a range of well known songwriters spanning the ages.
The two concerts raised more than $3000 for the Manning Uniting Church's welfare fund which provide programs to the homeless and those in need in the local area. The Silver Tones have raised more than $15,000 over the last five years, all of which has been donated to local charities.
The Silver Tones are now focussed on several performances in the lead up to Christmas. They will sing at three retirement homes, as well as taking part in the Manning Valley U3A concert and the blessing of the 'Festival of (Christmas) Trees' at St John's Anglican Church in early December.
