The fire continues to burn north of Harrington, in the vicinity of Industrial Road.
Firefighters are on scene protecting properties.
The fire is burning on the eastern side of Cattai Creek, within the Crowdy Bay National Park.
Strengthening east to north easterly winds are pushing smoke and embers towards Harrington.
Harrington Road is open, but could be closed at short notice.

Residents of Harrington and Coopernook are being advised to stay on alert as fire fighters work to control a bush fire at Crowdy Bay National Park.
The Rural Fire Service advised the fire is currently 1033 hectares in size. Harrington Road is open but could be closed at short notice.
The fire is burning on the eastern side of Cattai Creek, within the Crowdy Bay National Park.
Conditions have eased and the threat to properties has subsided, the RFS says.
The fire is burning on the northern side of Harrington Road and to the east of Christie Lane. Over the course of today (Tuesday, October 29) the fire is likely to spread to the east towards Industrial Road.
Today there will be strengthening east to north easterly winds. This may push smoke and embers towards the Pacific Highway and the Coopernook area.
Residents in Harrington and Coopernook area are advised continue to monitor the situation and follow their bush fire survival plan. Know what you'll do if fire threatens, the Rural Fire Service advises.
A bush fire burning in the Darawank area, north of Forster-Tuncurry, is not yet under control. The fire has burnt more than 2690 hectares.
Conditions eased across the fireground overnight and all roads in the area are now open.
Firefighters and aircraft will continue work to slow the spread of the fire. The fire is still producing large amounts of smoke.
Multiple bush fires are burning in the Tuncurry area. The fire is currently 3805 hectares in size and is being controlled.
Conditions across the fireground have eased and crews took advantage of favourable conditions to undertake backburning operations.
Firefighters will remain on scene to monitor conditions.
The RFS advises residents in the Darawank, Hallidays Point, Corrigan, Tallwoods Village, Black Head, Red Head and Diamond Beach areas to be aware of burning embers. These may start spot fires ahead of the main fire front.
"Enact your bush fire survival plan and know what you will do if fire threatens. Take advice from firefighters in the area."
Roads may be closed without notice according to conditions.
The RFS urges residents not to use fire trail roads as alternate routes as they are being used for firefighting operations.
Nine Mile Beach, Tuncurry is closed.
