A WEDDING will leave United minus three key players for tomorrow's Mid North Coast Premier League cricket season opener against Kempsey side Rovers at South Kempsey.
Opening bowler Justin Boyd will be getting married and United team-mates Josh Ferris and Aaron Pin will be among the guests.
As well veteran all-rounder Danial Stone is unavailable this weekend because of work commitments.
United captain Ricky Campbell said this is an early test of the club's limited depth.
The club doesn't field a second grade side this season so Campbell will have to raid the third grade's ranks for replacements.
"It is a bit of a jump from third grade to the premier league,'' Campbell admitted.
However, he hopes this weekend will be one-off regarding player unavailability and that the club's regular premier league squad will be able to meet commitments.
"Hopefully we won't have three or four players out at the one time again,'' he said.
United will be without another player from last season's premier side, with news that all-rounder Zac Sheather will be turning out with Taree West.
Dean Mills, who was also with United last summer, will lead Taree West this season.

"Losing Zac was a bit of a surprise,'' Campbell said.
Former Wingham wicket keeper/batsman Brock Hynes will be United's main gain at this stage, although ex-Macquarie Hotel all-rounder Josh Hyde is expected to be available in the New Year.
Hynes will slot into the middle order and also take over the wicket keeping role from Ryan Yates, who is recovering from a knee injury sustained playing rugby league in the winter.
If he does play Yates is expected to turn out with Gloucester Bushmen in the Manning B-grade competition.
Campbell is confident United will still field a competitive lineup tomorrow.
However, rain is predicted in the Macleay area and Campbell said he'll be pleased if the forecast is correct.
"It's supposed to be pretty heavy up there on Saturday,'' he said.
"It's needed, so we'll be happy to start doing a rain dance.''
Port City Magpies play Port Pirates in the other game.
