Dan Baker, who played in Nulla last season, is the vice captain.
Selectors have named a 14 strong side for the tournament. Winning team will advance to the State finals to be played at the SCG later in the season.
The squad is Nathan Lyon (Wauchope), Darren Bourke (Wauchope), Ricky Campbell (United), Aaron Hackenback (Wauchope), Tom Burley (United, captain), Jared Humphreys (Port Pirates), Dan Baker (Nulla, vice captain), Conner Cook (Port Pirates), Matt Miller (Wauchope), Adam Broderick (Port City), Sam Whitbread (United), Brandan Badenoch (Port City), Mitchell Korn (Rovers), Josh McTaggart (Wingham).
The tournament was originally set down for Armidale, however, the grounds there are under stress because of the drought.
