The event was to be held over two days to close out the season, with the Port Macquarie stages to be held on Saturday, October 26 and the Johns River course to follow the next day.
But with Forestry Corporation moving forward their harvesting schedule, the proposed course in Port Macquarie will be wiped out.
Johns River will now be the sole location for the event, with the stages moved up to the Saturday.
AMSAG confirmed the event will be held in daylight only, with the number of stages and distances to be determined in the coming weeks.
The rally headquarters and service park will be based out of the Blacksmiths Inn in Johns River.
Racing won't be lost from the Port-Hastings area for too long, with Wauchope earmarked as a feature round location in 2020.
