Tuesday September 3
Twenty-six ladies hit off in the second round of the club championships playing for the Trish Eacott trophy.
The winner was Connie Gates with a 65 nett. Div 1 gross Denise Polley 87, nett Laurelle Dennes 72. Div 2 gross Volda Humphries 94, nett Anne O'Neill 67, r/up Cheryl Andrews 74c/b. Div 3 gross Robyn Dudgeon 101, nett Sharon Juozaitis 70.
The NTP winners were on the third Jenni McLeod and Jan Baker, on the seventh Katrina Greenaway, Volda Humphries, and Kae Lane.
Ball winners were K. Greenaway, J. McLeod, J. Hampton, K. Lane, N. Smith, K. Woollard, M. Earley, P. Marcus, S. Mckenna, B. Braham.
Wednesday September 4
The vets played played for the September Monthly Medal which was won by Dave Elliott with 66 nett c/b. Next was A. Kenmare 66, third L. Murray 67. Gross winner was Dave Elliott 80, and the putting winner was Brian Roberts with 28.
The NTP winners were on the 3rd/12th Alan Bishop, on the 7th/16th Trevor Jones, 9th/18th Courtney Adamson.
Thursday September 5
The LJ Hooker Chook Run had 43 players. The winner was Rod Brown with 22 pts c/b, next was Tim Smith 22c/b, Ted Smith 22c/b, Syd Gilfillan won the nearest the pin on the third, and Beth Braham won the seventh.
A big thank you to all players for their understanding and support at the temporary changes to the chook run, Graham Steel.
Friday Septemebr 6
The Friday ladies played a stroke round, and the winner was Pat Marcus, r/up Cheryl Andrews, balls B. Tonkin, N. Smith, D. Stewart.
Saturday September 7
Fifty-six players hit off in very windy conditions for the Image Smash Repairs Monthly medal. The winner was Corey Moore with 69 nett. A Grade medal Rhys Cowie 71, B Grade Medal and nett Steve Abbott 72 c/b, C Grade nett Terry Harris 70.
An eagle three was scored on the eighth by Chris Schubert. Long drive winners were A Grade Rhys Cowie, B Grade Tim Sky, C Grade Corey Franklin.
The NTP winners were on the 1st/10th Wingham Plaza Butchers Peter Bell, 3rd/12th Wingham Gourmet Meats Jamie Berry, 4th/13th Pottsy's Bakehouse Scott Blanch, Terry Grant picked up $90 for the McQ/Crouch 7th/16th hole, 9th/18th Bent On Food Gary Croucher.
