Last week a Forster man discovered he had hit the jackpot with a $60,151.20 win in a Keno 8 Spot game.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, planned to take a holiday to New Zealand.
"I'll probably go on a holiday. I would love to go to New Zealand."
After discovering his win the man continued with his sandwich and carried on his day as normal.
"My family thought that was pretty funny," he said.
"I didn't believe it. I just thought 'That can't be right'. I never play an 8 Spot. I just decided I'd give it a go and I won."
He said the win would be a big help and it had come as a relief.
"It doesn't feel real so it's hard to plan what to do with it."
The winning entry was purchased at Lakeside Tavern
Licensee, Jeremy Cooper said he was thrilled to have sold a winning entry to a regular patron.
"We are very excited!" he said.
"It's great news for the tavern and for the community. We are thrilled for our winner. He is a regular and such a great guy. He is very deserving of this prize.
"Hopefully we sell some more major Keno wins soon and make more of our patrons happy winners."
