Following the huge success of its family dance in May this year, the Oxley Island Hall Committee will be conducting another on Friday, August 23 from 7.30pm to 11.30.

Excellent music for the old time, rock and roll and novelty dancing will be provided by the legendary Barney Carle. This music which will appeals to all tastes, combined with the top class dance floor and a chocolate wheel conducted by Dennis Watt, will guarantee another top night of entertainment.
Patrons should book early. The number of attendees will be limited to 70 for the comfort of all concerned.
The kitchen staff of volunteers led by committee president Zandria Polson will provide the usual tasty supper.
Admission is $10 and $25 for a family and all proceeds go to the maintenance of the century old hall.
