The fires are located on Enfield Range Road at Cooplacurripa, covering 196 hectares, and on Collings Road at Elands, covering 37 hectares.
Strong sou-westerly winds fanned the fires over the weekend. On Friday, August 9, several blazes broke out across the Mid Coast, and the Cooplacurripa and Elands fires burning out of control.
The Rural Fire Service had a grass fire under control at Possum Brush and another at Dyers Crossing under control.
A strong wind warning is in place today Monday, with conditions expected to ease on Tuesday.
Frosts are predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday, with overnight minimums of 0-1 degree, ahead of sunny days, with maximum temperatures 20-21 degrees. Winds will be light.
