Croker is now with the Newcastle Knights NSW Cup team and has been described as 'a smart and skilful forward' and a 'force in the middle.'
He has been named on the bench for NSW. The Blues will be out to avenge last season's 30-12 loss to Queensland, NSW's first loss since the under 20 concept started in 2012.
Croker started playing rugby league with Taree Panthers while he was a member of Taree City's premiership winning under 18 team in 2016. However, he has been in the Newcastle system for a number of years and was the Knights' SG Ball player of the year in 2017 and Jersey Flegg players' player in 2018.
Croker's younger brother, Harry, is also with the Knights. He toured England last year with the Australian Schoolboys side
