This Friday's performance at Club Old Bar will be a local gig of sorts for Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont.
The country music superstars, of Adam Eckersley Band and The McClymonts fame, will take the stage for the penultimate date of the Highway Sky tour before settling into their new home at Wang Wauk.
On the back of 18 months of non-stop recording and performing, Adam said the audience can expect a fun-filled night of entertainment.
"We're a couple of 'fools on stools' who talk a bit of rubbish," Adam laughed.
"We talk about where some of our songs have come from and we have a chance to interact with the audience.
"We can't wait to come up, it's not far up the road from where we are living now."
The duo will perform songs from their debut album, including hit singles 'Train Wreck', 'So Smooth' and 'Nothing Left To Win', as well as tunes from Adam Eckersley Band and The McClymonts.
They will be supported on the night by Port Macquarie local and 2019 Toyota Star Maker winner Blake O'Connor.
The tour has taken Adam and Brooke across NSW, Queensland and overseas.
"It's been a hectic year, we've been on this tour which took us to the United Kingdom for the Buckles and Boots Festival," Brooke said.
"It's been a really good start to the year."
The next chapter in their story began last week with the permanent move to the Great Lakes.
"We've been looking for land for ages and didn't really care where it was because we're both constantly away," Adam explained.
"We loved it (the property) as soon as we saw it.
"We've still got to find out about the lifestyle as we haven't lived on the land."
Brooke was ecstatic about the move.
"It's a new adventure for us, it gives us a bit of space so we're excited to see what the lifestyle brings," Brooke said.
The whirlwind year for the duo doesn't stop here. Adam will rejoin his band soon while Brooke will link up with her sisters for a massive tour.
Neither looks like slowing down anytime soon.
"We're in too deep to get out of it now," Adam smiled.
The performance at Club Old Bar begins at 7.30pm. To purchase tickets, call the club on 6553 7224 or www.trybooking.com.
