According to the Bureau of Meteorology, forecast for the rest of Friday (June 21) are sunny skies and a very slight chance of rain. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 16 degrees and a low of 2 degrees. Light winds becoming southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the late afternoon. There is a strong wind warning for the Hunter Coast.
The chance of rain is set to increase on Saturday (June 22) with partly cloudy skies. There is a 60 per cent chance of a possible rainfall of 2 to 5 mm. Temperatures are predicted to reach a maximum of 16 degrees with a low of 5 degrees. Light winds becoming southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h during the morning then becoming light during the evening.
Sunday (June 23) is expected to be cloudy with a high chance of showers bringing 8 to 15mm of rain and light winds. Temperatures are predicted to reach at top of 16 degrees with a low of 6 degrees.
For interested snow chasers, Barrington Tops is expected to reach top temperatures of 4 to 5 degrees across the weekend. Mostly sunny skies are forecast for Friday, while partly skies are due to roll in for Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are predicted to drop to 1 to zero degrees across the weekend with a chance of snow showers on Sunday.
