Women in NSW have a one in eight risk of developing breast cancer in their lifetime.
BreastScreen NSW offers a free, high quality service for the early detection of breast cancer. When breast cancer is detected early most women can return to a normal life after treatment.
While women aged 50 to 69 years are particularly encouraged to attend, all women aged 40 years or over are eligible for free screening mammograms.
Women should have regular screening mammograms every two years - once is not enough.
Having a mammogram isn't difficult and early detection is vital. Take advantage of this free service while the bus visits Taree. Call 13 20 50 to make an appointment.
