Officials from both clubs met this week to discuss a merger. However, the clubs insist no decision has yet been made and won't be in the immediate future.
Bridge said while the matter is 'in the background,' he added it isn't a factor with his squad while negotiations are in the preliminary stages.
Moorehead, who is also the Old Bar president, said the proposed amalgamation 'isn't an issue' with the players at the moment and hasn't been discussed.
However, he added the club will seek the views from the playing roster before any decision is made.
Club officials will meet again in three weeks for further discussions.
