The man was flown by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter suffering possible spinal injuries after falling through a roof.
The helicopter met an ambulance transporting the patient at the sports oval.
He was in a stable condition.
Also on Sunday the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked on a medical retrieval to Manning Hospital at Taree to transfer a 54 year old woman, suffering a medical condition, to John Hunter Hospital.
Earlier that same day the rescue helicopter was called to Ellenborough Falls, near Elands, to reports of a hang glider/para glider stuck in trees. However the helicopter returned to the Tamworth base when it was confirmed that two people had BASE jumped at the falls.
