Following extensive investigations through Strike Force Gretna, detectives, assisted by specialist tactical officers, arrested four men at separate homes in Taree at about 7am on Wednesday, May 8.
The men, aged 19, 22, 23 and 24, were then taken to Taree Police Station. A 42-year-old man was also arrested at the station just after 8.30am.
Mr Beauchamp's body was located by a NSW Rural Fire Service crew on Yarratt Road, Upper Lansdowne, on December 27, 2018 after they had extinguished a small fire in the Yarratt State Forest.
A post mortem examination revealed Mr Beauchamp had been seriously assaulted before his body was taken to the forest and set on fire.
The 41-year-old was originally from Queensland and had moved to the Taree area in mid-2018.
Investigations are continuing.
