About 9.30am on Saturday, May 4, officers were patrolling MacIntosh Street when they stopped a Holden utility.
After speaking with the male driver and a subsequent search, officers allegedly located and seized methylamphetamine, cannabis, drug paraphernalia and a sum of money.
The man allegedly tested positive to several illicit substances after a roadside drug test. He also tested positive to a secondary test. The sample has been sent for analysis.
After further inquiries, officers searched a Bucca Wauka property where they allegedly located and seized three firearms, ammunition, cannabis plants and a small amount of cannabis leaf.
The 27-year-old man was taken to Forster Police Station and charged with three counts of possession of a prohibited drug, cultivating a prohibited plant and three counts of possession of unregistered firearms.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Forster Local Court on Monday, July 3.
