The Westpac Rescue helicopter met an Ambulance Service NSW paramedic team at Taree Airport with a 79 year old woman.
She was stabilised by the helicopter critical care medical team before the 30 minute flight to the John Hunter. She was in a serious condition.
On Sunday, April 21 the Westpac Rescue Helicopter has flown to Bulahdelah showground to meet paramedics with a 21 year old woman who had fallen while on someone's shoulders.
She was treated at the scene and flown to the John Hunter Hospital with suspected back injuries.
