Wingham Spinners and Craft Group, who is organising the event, already have a wide variety of handpicked creator stalls attending, but would like more growers of plants, and potters are also invited to hold a stall.
Wingham Spinners and Craft Group are keen to let the public know the Fair is "not just all about wool". Stallholders already booked for the fair include artisan woodworkers, from carving out of big logs with a chainsaw to fine and detailed wood turning; jewellery of all types including semi-precious metals and semi-precious stones; hand made glass beads; handmade art journals; linen and hand-woven clothing and accessories; art; 'wild weaving' with vines, leaves and roots; baskets; and fabric and yarn crafts, to categorise some of the stalls.
Individual members of the Spinners and Craft Group will be holding stalls but don't be fooled into thinking you will find crocheted clothes hangers and toilet roll covers. Their wares are fine, artisan work - beautiful felted hats, extremely fine weaving and crocheting, handspun and dyed alpaca and wool woven, knitted and felted into clothing and accessories - for instance.
For more information on holding a stall at the Manning Made Artisan Fair, call Vivienne Scott on 0415 504 026.
