Crews were hard at work at Rotary Park on Monday, mulching dozens of fallen branches.
On the corner of Manning River Drive and Bligh Street, branches were piled up on the ground after a large tree was destroyed in the storm.
The entrance to the Saxby's Stadium carpark was out of bounds due to a fallen tree near power lines.
Several fences at the nearby hockey complex were also damaged.
The Manning River Rowing Club has been cornered off by fencing, as crews move in to begin the rebuild.
Road closure were in place on the Stevenson Street and River Street intersection.
Tape in the vicinity of the club was like a minefield, to keep people away from the building and nearby trees.
