Organisers of the 13th annual Wingham Akoostik Festival have announced six-time ARIA award winner Diesel as the headline act for the October event.

Diesel was due to headline at the 2018 festival but a large storm brought the event to a sudden end before the US born-Australian singer had the opportunity to perform.
Akoostik festival co-ordinator Donna Ballard said as well as coming back to the event, Diesel will bring a full band along with him.
Were so excited Diesel will be returning after not getting to play last year. The fact that hes not only coming back but hes bringing an even bigger show for us is awesome, she said.
This year will be our biggest lineup yet, with even more well-known names to come.
Diesel will be joined by other acts including Lloyd Spiegel, Hat Fitz and Cara, 19-Twenty, Hussy Hicks, Mason Rack, Blues Arcardia and Then Jolene.
More acts will be announced in the coming months.
Akoostik will be held at Wingham Showground on October 18-20.
