The Seniors Festival runs from February 13 to 24 with 20 events including movie showings, meditation and armchair yoga sessions, a concert, exploring historical items and photographs and workshops on using technology.
All weekend
- Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award (JADA) exhibition at Manning Regional Art Gallery, Macquarie Street, Taree. Gallery hours Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 1pm to 4pm.
- All Around Us art exhibition at Gloucester Gallery in Denison Street, Gloucester, featuring the work of Korean born and now Sydney-based artists, Cecelia and Mee. Gallery open Thursday to Saturday 10am to 4pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm. Monday to Wednesday call ahead.
Friday
- TOTS Tours at Manning Regional Art Gallery, 11.15am to noon. Exciting and fun art engagement for under 5s with their parents or carers. Under 5s will explore the current exhibition through song, dance and art making. Free.
Saturday
- Tea Gardens Farmers Market, 8am to noon, at Tea Gardens Public School.
- Wingham Farmers Market, 8am to noon, at Wingham Showground.
- Art Central, 10.30am to noon, at the Manning Regional Art Gallery. Children (6 to 12 year olds) engage with a wide range of materials and techniques with our experienced educators. Cost $15, bookings essential. February 2 - Landscape animals inspired by Anne Glynn.
- Taree parkrun, starts 8am from Endeavour Place, Taree.
Sunday
- Black Head Bazaar, 8am to 1pm, at Wylie Breckenridge Park, Black Head.
