The Wingham Thunder U10s were narrowly defeated in a great game by the Taree West Strikers (7/146) versus Wingham Thunder (2/130).

Wingham won the toss and decided to bat first. Rylie Murray (29) and Joshua Oliver (4) opened the batting for Thunder. Rylie had the Strikers running past the boundary, hitting five fours in his Innings.
The middle order kept the runs coming for Thunder before Gus Loretan (13) and Shawn Griffin (11) completed the innings in spectacular fashion, with Shawn smashing one out of the park for his first ever six.
Rylie and Shawn then shared the keeping duties with both doing a great job, Shawn had his gloves ready taking an amazing four stumpings in his 10 overs.
The bowlers did a great job with Jakiah Gallagher taking the only two wickets to be bowled (2/22 three overs). Gus Loretan bowled and took out the stumps for a run out in his second over finishing with 1/9 from his three overs.
Wingham Thunder versus Wingham Sixes this coming Saturday at Wingham Sporting Complex, in what promises to be an exciting match.
