The team played six matches including the final. Manning, coached by Ben Brown, dominated the pool games, scoring 18 goals and conceding just five to charge into the semi-final, where they thrashed Sydney South 8-0.
Manning accounted for Southern Highlights 4-3 in the final, although the score was 4-2 until the final seconds when Southern notched a goal.
Bree Pensini, Tahni Walters, Kalani Cross and Lara Watts were outstanding for Manning, with Lara named in the NSW team to contest the Australian championships to be played at Goulburn from January 13 to 17.
This makes it a double for the family, as Lara's younger sister Abby has been named in the NSW under 13 girl’s indoor hockey team.
Last year Manning went through the preliminary matches undefeated but bowed out in the semi-finals.
