Christmas Carols on the Lawn is taking place on Christmas Eve, December 24, at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 32 Moon Street, Wingham.

Festivities kick off at 7pm with a sausage sizzle and games for the kids, with the Carols beginning at 8pm.
Pat Taylor will be leading the singing, accompanied by instrumentalists.
If you’re looking to attend carols earlier than Christmas Eve, then the Anglican Church is hosting Carols in the Bush at Marlee on Sunday, December 16 at St Mark’s Anglican Church on Bulga Road, Marlee.
Bring your own chair and drinks at 5.45 for free sausage and steak sandwiches, and a jumping castle for the little ones.
Carols begin at 8pm and Caitlyn Cameron, a lead in the recent production of Les Miserables, will be performing.
On Christmas Eve at 5pm you can also take the kids to a special Children’s Service at St Matthews Anglican Church on Bent Street, Wingham. The service is contemporary with music and video. There will be a jumping castle and a birthday cake for Jesus for the children to to celebrate.
St Matthews is also hosting ‘BYO drinks and nibbles under the stars’ at the church grounds.
The Anglican Church has organised a simple Christmas Day luncheon for people who are alone on Christmas Day. For more information call Reverend Brian Ford on 6553 4043.
