Rees was at his belligerent best, blasting five sixes and 11 fours in a power-laden 30 ball knock, leaving the inexperienced attack in awe of the quality of his stroke play.
Rees took four balls to get off the mark then registered his 50 from the next 18, with 14 scoring shots. He failed to score from just nine balls overall. Rees was out in just the seventh over with 101 on the board.
Hayden Essery did well enough himself at the other end making 23 from 14 balls before being caught. Ryan Morris (11x) and Ben Cole (1x) were at the crease when Rovers score of 118 was surpassed after just 11 overs.
Rovers started well enough after winning the toss and electing to bat on a wicket devoid of grass.
Dave Rees was uncharacteristically untidy in his first over, leaking 17 runs as openers Bennett and Woodger helped themselves to a boundary and a three each.
But Rees and Ryan Smoothy quickly stemmed the flow as Smoothy dismissed Bennett (10) and Rees removed Woodger (15) with the score on 30.
Mitchell Korn watched on as Lachlan Dowling was stumped by Michael Rees off Tim Rees first delivery, followed by Jackson Korn (12) caught on the boundary by Harry Clarke from the same bowler.
Rovers skipper, Ethan Dowling, feasted on three boundaries from a Grahame Stinson over before he provided Mick Stinson an easy catch off Josh McTaggart, having hit five fours in his 22.
Ethan Brown made 11, Jarod Prosper and Matt Scott seven each, all falling to Michael Rees (3/16), now bowling leg spin.
McTaggart claimed Mitchell Korn for 17 then finished off trapping Nemme in front to return 3/24 in his first bowling stint following knee surgery.
Tim Rees grabbed 2 for 18.
The win consolidated Wingham in second position as they prepare to face United at Chatham Park this Saturday.
