This will be the Wingham-born Brown's third season in the WBBL.
The Renegades rounded off their squad this week with the signing of ACT fast bowler Zoe Cooke, who plays with Brown for the ACT Meteors in the Women’s National League.
Melbourne Renegades coach, Tim Coyle, said he looked forward to welcoming Cooke to the squad’s bowling line up.
“Zoe will be a great fit for our squad,” he said
“With Tayla Vlaeminck, Lea Tahuhu, Maitlan Brown and now Zoe on our list, we feel we’ve got some strong depth in the pace attack.”
Brown said recently she was confident the Renegades will continue their improving form in the Big Bash in the upcoming season.
