The Rotary Club of Taree recently made a vocational visit to Currie Bros Engine Reconditioners where Sam Lee supported by his father Mick, first year apprentice Dane Wallis and his mother Margie, operate a small business which when added to all the other small businesses in Australia is in aggregate by far the largest employer in Australia.

Sam, who is both passionate and highly knowledgeable in his field of engine reconditioning, kept the club enthralled with the range and scope of the equipment used which enables the high quality of work the business produces.
President Ian Woollard thanked Sam for taking the time to show the club his operation after a long working day, and praised him and his team on their achievements. Indeed he said they were 'quintessential Australians'.
