Jeremy has had to deal with a few issues in his young life. He started running competitively in 2015. Running makes him feel good.
The 12-year-old Manning Gardens Public School student is showing potential in multi class events. At the Pan Pacific Games in Adelaide last year he was fifth in the 200 metres while, running as a representative for South Australia, he was a member of the 4 x 200 metre relay team, where he won a silver medal. Earlier this year he was off to Queensland for the national cross country championships. He won a silver medal with the NSW team while he was the fifth across the line in the 12-years division.
Jeremy will contest the national multi class championships in Melbourne from November 22-27, where he’ll contest the 800 metres. Jeremy is a definite medal chance as he recently clipped two seconds off his personal best. His mum and dad are currently raising funds to ensure he makes the trip and have set up a go fund me page.
