It was a great opportunity for families to have fun, get to know all the firefighters, find out about the local fire risk and learn just how easy it is can be to prepare for the bush fire season.
Children had lots of fun with the water activities while parents were shown a presentation on bush fire safety.
Information packs were provided to show how to prepare homes for the bush fire season.
Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams and Marshall from Paw Patrol were among the special guests for the day.
Many RFS brigades from across NSW took part across the weekend.
The bush fire danger period began on September 1.
Landholders will need a fire permit before they light a fire on their property.
