On Saturday, September 29, officers will make the move from their current residence at 83 Albert Street, Taree to the former MidCoast Water site at 26 Muldoon Street, Taree.
Police are set to be stationed at the building for about 18 months while the Albert Street site goes through a major rebuild and upgrade of facilities.
The temporary site will be used for all police duties in Taree.
However, people charged at Taree Police Station will be held at Forster Police Station when required.

On completion, the upgraded Taree station will include include a regional police charge facility, a breath analysis and drug test facility, CCTV and audio visual links, new work spaces for all officers, secure parking for police vehicles, a small gym, meal facility and modern foyer.
