Under a newly implemented system of assessment and rating which assesses all early childcare centres, our local treasure has received an ‘exceeding’ rating; a fantastic and rare achievement.
Preschool director, Cassie Berry explained the preschool adopts a unique, ‘outside the box’ approach to education, which is also embedded through the implementation of the ‘bush preschool’ program
“We are proud to have the hard work and unique program we do here recognised, it’s a community effort,” Cassie said.
“Above all we are very passionate about promoting quality education.”
The bush preschool program continues to build, with many early childhood services all over NSW wanting to understand the philosophy behind it and how it works, Cassie continued.
“Whilst the educators are all incredibly humble, they have built an incredible program. Our committee is pretty chuffed with the result, we think it’s very exciting.
“We have been here a long time, we are like the hidden pot of gold at the end of the road,” she said.
