A special thanks to community liaison officer, Karen Newcombe, who worked hard to organise the wonderful event.
The Bowls for Bales day was organised in addition to a number of fundraising activities the club has undertaken in the past weeks.
“We started our fundraising at the start of August,” Karen said.
“There has also been so much food, pet food and other products like clothes and toiletries donated, the community has really gotten involved.
“We have a food drop at the club, with non-perishables foods, pet food, cosmetics and clothes very welcome.”
