The endorsement was approved a Nationals Myall Lakes Electorate Council meeting in Taree on Saturday, July 28.
“I am grateful for the support the community and The Nationals membership has shown me over the last seven years and it is an honour to have been preselected as The Nationals candidate for the 2019 election.
“In my time as your local member, plenty has happened and been delivered, but there is still a lot to do.
“This role affords me the tremendous privilege to serve my constituents to the best of my ability and get the results that they need,” Mr Bromhead said.
Mr Bromhead said he was proud of what has been achieved for the region.
“The Myall Lakes electorate has seen record investment, all our schools have received funding to clear the maintenance backlog, stage one redevelopment of Manning Hospital is underway and we have just announced a $100 million roads package.
“I have a clear vision for the Myall Lakes, and want to be sure that we deliver on all of the projects that have been committed to.
“I will continue to engage and work with the community and I will always work to deliver for the people of the Myall Lakes.
“In March 2019, I will look to the community to judge me on my track record of delivery over the past seven years, and they will know that in me, they have someone who is a fighter and believes in the Myall Lakes,” Mr Bromhead said.
Mr Bromhead added that his priorities going forward include reclassification of Lakes Way and Buckets Way to State roads, a public hospital in the Great Lakes, funding for stage two of the Manning Hospital redevelopment, a purpose built women’s shelter for the Great Lakes and major upgrades to Wingham Showground.
“The Myall Lakes region holds a special place in my heart. I have lived here for close to 40 years, run a business and raised my family here,” Mr Bromhead said.
“I am proud to represent this region and I’m passionate about doing what’s best for our communities and for regional NSW.”
