Organiser, Kimberly Wright of Taree said this.
The walk and job attracted 110 starters. This was down on the 2017 figure.
“I think the poor weather we had leading up to the event contributed to that,’’ Kimberly said.
Last year nearly 200 took part.
“It was a fantastic day,’’ Kimberley added.
“The conditions were perfect.’’
Runners and walkers headed off from Endeavour Place near the Manning River Rowing Club and followed the route used for the popular weekly Taree parkrun. Kimberly in a parkrun regular.
“It’ll be on again next year for sure,’’ Kimberley added.
