Snow falling above 1100 metres on Barrington Tops earlier this week but that will be replaced by rain and cloudy for the remainder of the week. The Tops will experience lows at -1 degrees Celsius over the weekend, brining with it the chance of frost and fog.
A low pressure system near New Zealand with a trough to the northwest is slowly moving east and weakening and a high pressure system is moving towards Tasmania.
The two systems are directing vigorous southwest to southeasterly winds along the New South Wales coast.
Winds will ease later today as the high moves over the southwestern Tasman Sea extending a ridge along the coast.
For the Manning-Great Lakes, this means an easing in temperature.
Wednesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 21 should be rainy with maximum tempartures of around 17 degrees.
Friday should reach a high of 18, Saturday’s maximum is forecast at 19 and Sunday’s at 18. The days should be sunny with light winds.
