Events will be underway from 9am and the program should be finished by early in the afternoon, Taree Powerboat Club official Scott Godfrey said.
This will be the second time the club has hosted the national titles.
There will be three categories decided – J1, J2 and J3, based on age. Drivers will be aged nine and over and are expected from all around NSW.
The local club will be represented by up to four drivers, with Reece Wright in the J3 class expected to press hard for major honours.
A club day has also been advertised for Sunday.
