The event is scheduled to take place at Taree Railway Institute Bowling Club on High Street, Taree, with celebrations kicking off at 7pm.
Group member, Severina Walker is looking for anyone who can help to record this event for the night.
“We're going to have visitors from Sydney connected to the Philippines immigration department,” Severina explained.
“Our local guests will be one of our retired councillors, Eric Richardson and his wife, Mave Richardson.
“They were the patrons of the Filipino/Australian community when it was started 30 years ago,” she added.
Philippines Independence Day commemorates the Philippine Declaration of Independence from Spain on June 12, 1898.
