This was the side’s third win from as many matches. Old Bar sits in third place on the ladder but has a game in hand against Port Macquarie. Next Saturday the Pirates meet second placed Wingham at Old Bar in the match of the round.
In other games competition leaders Port City had to work hard to overcome Wauchope 30-20 while Wingham rattled up 64 points in one half against Macleay Valley before Macleay officials called the game off. Macleay will meet on Tuesday night to decide the club’s immediate future.
