TAREE just managed to hold out a determined Wauchope side to score a 3-2 win in the Football Mid North Coast Premier League clash at Omaru Park.

Wauchope led 1-0 at halftime however, the Wildcats hit back in the second section to claim their second win for the season.
Camden Haven Redbacks made it back to back wins when they defeated Tuncurry-Forster Tigers 5-1 at Vince Inmon Sporting Complex in Laurieton. A strong first half resulted in the Redbacks taking a 4-0 lead into the break and they were never troubled to secure the three points. The Tigers who now have three losses and will need to tighten up at the back and find some form to keep in touch with the finals places even at this early stage.
In Kempsey at Eden Street, Wallis Lake came from behind to take the points against Kempsey Saints with the score ending 2-1 in favour of the Forster outfit. Coming off the bye last weekend, Wallis Lake remain undefeated with two wins and a draw. Saints now have two wins and two losses going into next weekend’s bye.
There was a high scoring affair in Port Macquarie between Port Saints and Port United at Findlay Park. A total of 8 goals were registered with United coming away with a 5-3 win. After leading 3-1 at the break, United allowed Saints back into the match with the home side pulling level at 3-3. United hit back though with a further two goals to secure all three points.
Port United and Camden Haven will meet on Tuesday night in Port Macquarie at Dixie Park. This is a washed out round three match with reserve grade to start at 6pm and first grade at 7.45.
In round five next Saturday Wallis Lake will host Camden Haven Redbacks, Tuncurry-Forster and Port Saints will go head to head in Tuncurry while Wauchope tackle Macleay Valley Rangers.
Kempsey Saints and Port United will head north to Coffs Harbour to play in the FFA Cup fourth round. Saints have the bye in the premier league fifth round, while the United and Taree Wildcats match will be played at a later date.
